InkFlick Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InkFlick (Chinese name "墨动", the "App"), an AI-powered short-drama creation studio operated by Wuxi Nanhara Technologies Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

InkFlick is intended for users aged 12 and older (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are a minor, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your Account

You sign in using your email address or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Please notify us at support@nanhara.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. The Service

InkFlick lets you create short dramas with AI: you provide an idea, a theme, or a document, and the App generates a script (outline, cast, and episodes). From your script, the App can generate character images, storyboard images, short storyboard videos, and optional AI voice-over. You can edit, rewrite, and refine the results, and export them. Scripts, images, videos, and voice-over are generated by AI.

4. Subscriptions, Credits, Billing, and Free Trials

InkFlick offers a free tier as well as optional auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time Credit purchases.

• Subscriptions: the Plus and Pro tiers unlock unlimited script writing and enhanced generation, subject to fair-use rate limits and the benefits shown on the purchase page. Indicative prices are US$9.99 per month (Plus) and US$24.99 per month (Pro), or the equivalent shown on the App Store for your region.
• Credits: Credits are a virtual item used to generate images and video shots. Credits can be obtained as part of a subscription (a monthly allowance) or purchased as one-time Credit packs. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used outside the App, and one-time Credit packs do not expire. Use of Credits is further governed by the Credits Service Agreement.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Free trial: any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Fair use: to keep the service available to everyone, generation is subject to rate limits and, for certain enhanced modes, monthly quotas. These limits are designed not to affect normal use.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms and applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to generate content that is illegal, that sexualizes minors, that incites violence or hatred, or that infringes others' rights;
• Upload a photo of any person without that person's consent, or use the App to impersonate, defame, or create misleading depictions of a real person;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security, or access controls, or use bots/automation to abuse the service;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App or its underlying services;
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

• All scripts, characters, images, and videos produced by InkFlick are works of fiction generated by AI for creative and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute advice and do not reflect facts or the views of InkFlick or its operator.
• AI output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for some audiences. You use generated content at your own discretion.
• You are responsible for the inputs you provide and must not submit content that violates Section 5.

7. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

• The App, its design, trademarks, and software are owned by us and protected by law.
• You retain ownership of the original inputs you create. Subject to these Terms and the terms of our AI providers, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the scripts, images, and videos generated from your inputs for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your inputs and generated content solely to operate and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy, "Account deletion"). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
